Level 4 32 - 40 marks
There is evidence of an excellent level of ability in undertaking, applying and presenting research into film topics. Largely independent candidate with little direction or support needed from teacher.
• Excellent analysis of primary materials, demonstrates insight and supports analysis through close reference.
• Excellent contextualisation of their investigation in terms of secondary research sources.
• Excellent understanding of the ideas and theories of established critics. Engagement with/application of the ideas and theories of established critics will be confident and sustained.
• Excellent skill in presenting findings, carefully considered use of form of presentation, demonstrates creativity in approach.
• Excellent ability to draw conclusions.
